It came to me in a dream.

A quiet house. Still, but not empty. I could feel the presence of two people who had once lived there. A couple, bound by something deeper than time. The home was filled with their warmth, even though they had long since passed.

It wasn't ghosts that I saw. It was love that lingered. 

They danced through rooms no longer theirs. Touched objects that had forgotten their names. Laughed in silence. Moved in rhythm with memories only they could feel.

And I watched, from somewhere between waking and sleep, between the living and the gone.

That dream didn't leave me.

It made me ask:

When we go, does our love vanish? Does it echo somewhere - in the fibers of the wooden floor, in the dust above a picture frame, in the air we once shared?

That question became dancing for eternity - not just a song - but a belief. A wish.

That the love we share in this life doesn't dissolve. That maybe, just maybe, it dances long after we're gone. 

We don't get to know what happens after. But I'd like to think we return in ways that matter. In the flicker of a light. In music someone cant stop humming. 

In a quiet house where two souls still dance.
